Imagine some of the best Italian restaurants in New York City under one roof, serving up Tuscan-inspired fare. Expect oodles of noodles—bucatini, rigatoni, fusilli and more—paired with classic Tuscan sauces, crispy pizza, bruschetta and Italian wine, turning the Big Apple into the Big Ragù for one night. Back by (very) popular demand, the taco-and-tequila night is a south-of-the-border bonanza where tortillas meet tequila and everything from birria to barbacoa, al pastor to pollo will be stuffed into freshly made corn and flour tortillas. Tacos & Tequila will be hosted by Meet Cutes NYC’.
This year, the fiesta of fun will take place at a new NYCWFF venue: Hall des Lumières in lower Manhattan. With its interior projecting stunning images on the walls and ceilings, it’s the perfect spot to get this party going.
At this indulgent walk-around fiesta, taco makers from New York’s best taquerias will be slinging tortillas and stuffing them with both traditional and creative ingredients. Even better, there will be over 10 different brands of tequila to sip and savor, whether straight or in a cocktail.
